Full membership is open to production companies - including registered sole traders, partnerships and limited companies - making audio content on a professional basis for commissioning organisations such as the BBC, UK commercial radio, recognised audio platforms, companies or agencies.

Associate membership is open at the discretion of the Board to anyone who wishes to be kept informed of AudioUK's activities, including freelancers, students, academics and others with an interest in audio production who may not qualify for full membership. Associates receive our general membership emails, but do not have voting rights or access to benefits such as the legal services scheme.

The current fees for full membership, which does now include the Legal Scheme, are as follows (from 1st July 2018):

A: up to £15,000 £180
B: £15,001 to £25,000 £220
C: £25,001 to £50,000 £250
D: £50,001 to £75,000 £360
E: £75,001 to £100,000 £440
F: £100,001 to £150,000 £605
G: £150,001 to £300,000 £825
H: £300,001 to £500,000 £1,100
I: over £500,001 £1,650
   

Associate membership is £120 pa

The membership year runs from July 1st to June 30th the following year.  New members joining through the year are charged pro rata.
