Will has worked in radio for over 20 years, including production for BBC and commercial radio. He's previously worked on radio licensing and policy for the industry regulator Ofcom, and managed the Highways Agency's digital radio travel news service.

 He also works at transmission provider Arqiva, on its national and local DAB multiplexes, and reports on industry events for and Radio World magazine's international edition Will regularly judges a range of industry awards, including the New York Festivals, BBC Radio Awards and Mixcloud Online Radio Awards.

Until March 2005 he was Director of Policy at TV and film trade association Pact, which successfully amended legislation to protect producers' intellectual property. He also worked extensively on BBC Charter and Ofcom Reviews, and represented the UK sector at EU level.

Prior to this he was a senior consultant at Westminster Strategy and Political Context, delivering successful  programmes for Microsoft, Eutelsat, Astra, Pact and others.

As an independent consultant Tim has worked with a range of media industry clients including Channel 4 (including its 4Radio project), Directors UK, PhonepayPlus, the Commercial Broadcasters Association (CoBA), and Teledwyr Annibynnol Cymru (TAC) which represents independent TV production companies in Wales.

Tim is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, the professional association for communications consultants.

portrait of Paul MarchPaul March is our Retained Counsel, through his company Marchy Management.  Paul has nearly two decades experience in the media and entertainment industry.  A qualified solicitor and former partner at Clintons, MM is passionate about radio, television and the wider media. 

Paul read law at Leeds University and was involved in student radio and journalism.  Following law school and a masters degree in law (intellectual property) at University College London, Paul joined Clintons in Covent Garden as a trainee in 1997.  For the next sixteen years he was a key member of the practice advising celebrities, musicians, writers, broadcasters, DJs, format creators, radio and television executives and independent productions companies.

Paul has a love of radio, television and journalism.  From music radio (Radio 1, 2, Capital, Heart, Smooth, Kiss, Absolute and Bauer Place Network), to speech (Radio 4, 5 Live, talksport and LBC) to television including in particular new formats and programming.  Last year Paul wrote the practice note on 'Television Formats and the Law' for Lexis Nexis, the top UK legal publisher.

Kim Mason is our Administrator, working one day a week through her company K M Enterprises Ltd.  Kim has worked as administrator for us since October 2009. Her role includes looking after membership, finance and all aspects of admin.

She has worked as a book keeper and administrator for over 10 years, managing the finances for a number of independent small businesses.  Kim combines this with working part time supporting young people with additional needs in a local 6th form college. She has a long background in business having jointly run and managed the finances for a successful retail business for over 20 years. She can be emailed at This email address is being protected from spambots.
